Blue Zone: An area in the world where people live measurably longer lives. In these regions, people reach the age of 100 at rates ten times greater than those in the United States. Currently, there are 5 Blue Zones. Dan Buettner researched these and discovered their secrets to longevity.
This July, my family and I will be moving to Nicoya, Costa Rica, one of these Blue Zones to live there for a year.
We have been working toward this temporary move for several years. A big part of our desire is to give our children the experience of living in a different country and culture. We are very excited about this opportunity to live in one of the healthiest and happiest places on Earth! During our year there, we plan to share the many ways you can add years to your life, and life to your years. Additionally, we will be hosting several health retreats designed for you to experience what these people have discovered about living a long, healthy, and happy life!

For patients of mine, I know this may be a shock to some of you. But I want you to know that I am not leaving you! I will continue to provide patient care via phone and video. I already work with a significant number of patients across the country this way. You will have the opportunity to continue care with me virtually, using phone or video. Or, for your convenience, you can choose to see one of our two highly trained naturopathic doctors at our office, who will be able to seamlessly provide continued care for you and your family.
