I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in 1989. I’ve spent the last 19 years dealing with doctors and gastrointestinal specialist and had been prescribed many different medications. I had some success along the way but no real long term cure. The medication would only minimize my flare ups but never stopped them altogether. (A flare up is the equivalent of getting an ulcer in my large colon. Symptoms would be a tremendous amount of discomfort, intense gas, pressure on my stomach and internal bleeding)
I had been looking for a way to get off medicine altogether. After a consultation with Dr. Michelle Dillon she recommended a homeopathic remedy coupled with a probiotic and Vitamin E supplement. After just two and a half months of this treatment I am now off all medications. And best of all I’ve had no flare ups during this time.
I’ve tried previously to get off my medicine but I would always get a flare up and have to go back on my medication to alleviate my symptoms. I’ve never been “flare free” for this length of time.
